Overview / Summary

I am a qualified Application Development professional with 10+ years IT field experience. I have spent the majority of my career building custom business applications for a varying array of clients. My career has seen me involved with companies from SMEs, to Fortune 500 US companies and Australian Government agencies. Throughout this career, I have worked in development, maintenance, architecture and project management roles and am now DSC-IT’s Application Development Manager.

I am currently responsible for managing a team of developers, along with project management, business analysis and business intelligence work.

Some of the my more recent experience includes:

• Varying roles in projects for development of ASP.NET and Windows based applications with connections to back end SQL Server databases. These projects, lasting from six months to two years, have had a varying degree of complexity. Roles have ranged from Project Management through to Development.
• Responsible for Application Architecture for a government agency. This includes the design and implementation of core security systems used by all applications.
• Report writing with SQL Reporting Services 2005.
• Architect/Developer for several Audio/Visual IT systems including venue media streaming and exhibit control systems. Technologies included VB6.0, ASP.NET (Web services, web applications and Windows Services).
• SharePoint customisation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce (Information Technology), Curtin University WA. Member of "Golden Key National Honors Society" (top 15% of University Students).
